Premier People Recruitment (PPR) are an employment business who supply temporary labour operatives to an array of industries.

We are currently recruiting for a Poling Operative to join our team. This is a subcontracting opportunity, paid CIS or PAYE via an Umbrella Company. The role involves the renewal of poles, provision of new poles and the recovery of redundant ones.

The duration of this contract is ongoing.

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
• Professional communication skills
• Organised, self-motivated, and achievement-oriented
• Basic computer literacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Replace decayed, damaged, or defective poles in the Openreach network
• Install new poles to support customer connections
• Ensure all work meets client specifications and safety standards
• Maintain driving standards and legal compliance
• Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company/client policies

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working in the Openreach network
• Groundworks or civils experience
• IPAF 1B
• NPORS N107 or equivalent
• Full NRSWA Streetworks operative-level qualification
• 360 Excavator operation
• PASMA certification
