Job Purpose / Primary Objective
As a Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for the control of your designated Project or assigned tasks as well as ensuring that all documentation, services, and processes are completed in line with the needs of the business.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:
·Overall supervision of a number of sub-contracting site crews carrying out civils and cabling works on underground Telecommunication networks
·Compliance with road works signing, lighting, and guarding
·Responsible for all site works, methodology and network build approach
·Construction of Under chambers and the erection of Communication Street side cabinets
·Installation of telecommunication fibre cables and associated works
·Complete stock checks when required
·Responsible for site inspections at the start and the end of the day
·Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures and service deterioration trends
·Supervision of day-to-day project delivery within a geographical area, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement
·Manage and lead Field Engineers responsible for ongoing civils and cabling contracts
·Carry out regular audits of Field Engineers performance and quality of work
·Responsible for the ordering of all required materials, taking delivery and assigning allocated materials to Field Engineers
·Ensure Field Engineers are reporting their progress through supplied tablets
6.6 Weeks/33 days per annum, inclusive of bank holidays and company shutdowns.

To be effective in this role the Civils Supervisor will need to:
- Maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team &
- Communicate effectively with all other departments.
The experience required for this role include but are not limited to the following tasks
·Knowledge of the BT network
·NRSWA Supervisor accreditations
·Able to demonstrate a previous track record of field supervision
·Full UK drivers license
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
